The Work Experience Program provides an opportunity for students, 14 years of age and over, to participate in a variety of work or community placements. The Work Experience Program provides a continuum of actual work experiences, along with classroom instruction, allowing students to obtain marketable skills that they can apply to real-world employment while earning credit. There are two options:

Work Study - Paid work experience without school credit.

Work Experience - Paid work experience with school credit.

.5 credit for 150 hours

1 credit for 300 hours

Work Experience matches a students career/vocational training, interests, and needs with a specific job. Several levels of instruction and support are available to meet the individual needs of each student, including job coaching. This program supports the post-secondary goals created by students, families, and staff to develop independent work skills.
