
Work Experience and Work Study Program
The Work Experience Program provides an opportunity for students, 14 years of age and over, to participate in a variety of work or community placements. The Work Experience Program provides a continuum of actual work experiences, along with classroom instruction, allowing students to obtain marketable skills that they can apply to real-world employment while earning credit. There are two options: Work Study - Paid work experience without school credit. Work Experience - Paid work experience with school credit. .5 credit for 150 hours 1 credit for 300 hours Work Experience matches a students career/vocational training, interests, and needs with a specific job. Several levels of instruction and support are available to meet the individual needs of each student, including job coaching.
