Creekside School
Creekside School serves students with multiple disabilities ages 5-21 in 12:1:4 classrooms. Emphasis is placed on academic, communication and daily living skills, social interaction and vocational training. Each student follows a sequential program in reading, math, and community living skills. In addition, students benefit from music therapy, community based instruction and cooking activities. Vocational training begins at the primary level in our Work Skills Room. Later vocational experiences include the Work Training Center, Multi-Occupational shops, a community-based vocational program, The Treasure Chest (School Store) and the Work Experience Program.
The program is offered at the Central Campus. In addition, a day treatment program is offered in cooperation with Hillside Children's Center. This program serves students with developmental disabilities and a diagnosed psychiatric illness. The Student Admissions Office processes referrals from school districts for school age children.
